Startups working on self-driving trucks have stalled, Axios reporter finds

Arizona has been an early adopter in welcoming companies developing autonomous commercial trucking driving technology. But reporter Joann Muller reports that several startups working on self-driving trucks have stalled in the early months of 2023.

This leaves fewer companies to deliver on a huge promise to make freight transportation safer, more efficient, and help meet growing demand during a nationwide driver shortage.

Muller is the transportation correspondent for Axios and has been reporting on this issue. She joined The Show to talk about what she has learned.
