San Carlos Apache grow tribal health care system

The San Carlos Apache Healthcare Corporation says $52 million has been secured to build a health center in Bylas and a hospital annex in Peridot.

The money is through a program that gives federal income tax credits in exchange for people and corporations investing in low-income areas.

Expanded primary and pediatric care are planned in Peridot, plus dental, optometry, pharmacy and imaging services in Bylas.
