Secretary of State Adrian Fontes says election security wasn't prioritized in the Arizona budget

The recently-approved new Arizona budget has drawn some criticism from Democrats. Some of that criticism centered on the lack of a cap on the state’s universal school voucher program.

But Secretary of State Adrian Fontes has a different complaint. His office had asked for more money for things like security and some new IT systems to help run elections smoothly.

The Show spoke with Fontes and asked how the Secretary of State’s Office did in this budget.
