The 2024 elections are already under threat. This report has recommendations to secure them

Arizona is less than a year away from some state primaries in the 2024 elections, although the past two cycles are still very much on some voters’ minds.

To prepare for next year, the Brennan Center for Justice at New York University Law School has released a series of recommendations for federal, state and local officials to make sure those elections are secure.

With me to talk about them is Lawrence Norden, senior director of the Elections and Government Program at the Brennan Center. One of his recommendations deals with protecting election workers, and he recently did a survey that showed many of them have dealt with abuse and harassment at their jobs.

Norden joined The Show and began by talking about what states can do to try to make sure they have enough election workers and those workers are able to do their jobs safely.
