Arizona gas prices drop 4 cents from last week

Average gas prices have dropped about 4 cents from a week ago across Arizona to about $4.64 a gallon.

Maricopa County continues to have the highest prices at $4.99 a gallon on average. Graham County has the lowest, with prices at about $3.41 per gallon.

"The good news right now is because there hasn’t been much movement in the gas market, it means the market has been stable and demand hasn’t jumped up much as we get closer to Memorial Day," said Julian Parades, a spokesperson with AAA.

Parades added that Memorial Day could see an uptick in prices as demand for summer travel rises.
