The Gila River Indian Community will open its fourth casino in the Valley next month. Located south of Chandler, the Santan Mountain Casino is expected to have more than 800 slot machines and other amenities in a luxury setting.

“This particular location, everything is very light and bright and white, and that’s something that’s also not typical in casinos. Everything is dark, you know, and it’s just we want people to stay here in the Valley," she said.
According to Vizcarra, the casino will feature the largest sportsbook in Arizona with a footprint of 7,000 square feet. Gila River Resorts and Casinos is looking to hire 700 employees for various positions at Santan and its other properties.
