Technology has changed the way we tip today and where we’re asked to do it.
Instead of leaving 15% at a restaurant, it sometimes feels like we’re being asked to select a tip amount from an iPad screen — 15, 20 or 25% — just about everywhere.
The Show spoke with Lizzie Post, co-president of the Emily Post Institute, who said that there's good and bad to the new way tipping is presented. Post is also the great-great-granddaughter of Emily Post, the forebearer of American etiquette.
