Alhambra Elementary School district begins free breakfast, lunch program for children and teens

As the semester ends, Alhambra Elementary School District will begin serving free breakfast and lunch to children and teens at some of its schools for a portion of the summer.

Most of the schools listed will run from May 30 through late June. However, Alhambra Traditional School will offer the program during July.

People 19 and older have access as well, but will have to pay $2.75 for breakfast and $3.85 for lunch.

No applications are required.

The Alhambra district serves more than 10,000 students from preschool through eighth grade in west Phoenix.
