State Superintendent of Public Instruction Tom Horne says he’s been using some of the money set aside to administer Arizona’s school voucher program to advertise it.
He won't, however, say how much of the $10 million allocated by lawmakers he’s using.
This comes after the state Department of Education estimated 100,000 students would be enrolled in the program by the end of the next fiscal year.
That’s up from the roughly 58,000 students enrolled right now.
