What ASU's new medical school means for Arizona's health care industry

Last week, Arizona State University announced that it was asked by the Arizona Board of Regents to create a new medical school. Phoenix’s medical corridor is booming, but the state of Arizona ranks close to the bottom in national rankings on a number of health indicators. 

And, as with much of the rest of the country, we are facing a lack of medical professionals, particularly primary care doctors. So will this new effort make a difference?

To address that question, The Show spoke with Will Humble, director of the Arizona Public Health Association.
