FTC seeks public comment on how to better protect consumers

The Federal Trade Commission is seeking public comment on ways the agency can better work with state attorneys general to protect consumers.

The effort is required by a bill signed last year that was sponsored by then Arizona Congressman Tom O’Halleran.

The FTC has until October to do a study on how to better collaborate with attorneys general to prevent, raise awareness of and penalize fraud.
