Scottsdale seek public comment on dog park plan

Scottsdale officials are seeking online public comment on plans for a three-and-a-half acre dog park near Thompson Peak Parkway and Hayden Road.

The project has a $4.6 million budget paid for with voter-approved bonds.

The plan is to build three fenced areas for dogs with a footbridge connecting to Thompson Peak Park and a new parking lot.

Construction is scheduled to be done in about two years.
