Fewer Arizonans are going to college, but ASU, UA and NAU are graduating more students than ever

Graduation season may be over, but now, the numbers are in.

Arizona’s public universities awarded a record number of degrees in the 2021-2022 school year, but the number of those degrees that went to Arizona residents went down slightly. And less than half of all Arizona high school students are going to college to begin with.

The data comes from the latest college completion report from the Arizona Board of Regents.

The Show spoke more about the numbers with Arizona Capitol Times reporter Kiera Riley.
