AZ tribes share more than $153M in gaming revenue with local governments

Tribes with casinos in Arizona shared more than $153 million of their revenue with local governments during the fiscal year that ends June 30.

The vast majority of tribal gaming contributions go to the state to help pay for education, health care, tourism and wildlife conservation.

A sliver of the purse goes to counties, cities and towns to help cover public safety and economic development costs.
