Jane Spicer started her golf club headcover business at age 10: Made in Arizona

Jane Spicer is an entrepreneur who started her own company, Daphne's Headcovers, as a 10-year-old kid.

Originally beginning as stuffed animals, the plush toys turned into puppets and then into headcovers for golf clubs. This turned out to be a twist of fate that would stick with Spicer for the rest of her career. Daphne’s Headcovers became synonymous with one famous golfer who liked the tiger stuffed animal headcover for his clubs.

After Tiger Woods won the 1997 Masters, Daphne’s Headcovers really took off. The stuffed tiger even became a character in a series of Nike commercials. Spicer told The Show her cover Frank the Tiger is still their most popular headcover today.
