There has been a good amount of discussion lately about what would happen in the Phoenix area if there was a blackout during the summer.

New research looks into how blackouts during extreme heat would affect different groups of people differently in three cities, including Phoenix. The data also reveals why policymakers need to have a better sense of what the temperature really is in different parts of the region.
