Over the last 15 years, artisan ice cream shop Sweet Republic has had some unusual flavors. Alongside the expected flavors like vanilla bean or rocky road, there’s been bacon ice cream, avocado ice cream, and now, asparagus ice cream.
The Show met with Sweet Republic’s co-owner Helen Yung in the back of their Tempe location to learn more.
Sweet Republic’s asparagus ice cream will be available at all three of their locations while supplies last. Yung estimates it’ll be out for about another week or two.
