Tempe Public Library has a new feather-filled art installation for 2023

Books are for the birds — at least that’s the message you might get when visiting the Tempe Public Library this month.

Each year the library picks a theme to kick off its summer reading program — 2022 was "Ocean of Possibilities." This year’s concept comes with a library-wide art installation, “Birds of a Feather,” the product of the imagination of Arizona artist and illustrator Sarah Hurwitz.
