For 15 years, Practical Art in central Phoenix has served as a hub for both artists and art lovers.
At the helm is Lisa Olson, who left photojournalism for gallery work and never looked back. Olson still makes photos and is celebrated in the community for her commitment to other artists.
She sat down with KJZZ contributor Robrt Pela to talk about how and why Practical Art has thrived over the years, even during a recession and pandemic.
