Scottsdale neighborhood enhancement program offers grants to residents

Scottsdale is offering grants to residents who want to spruce up their neighborhoods.

The Neighborhood Enhancement Grant Program is designed to maintain or revitalize areas to prevent mature neighborhoods from declining. Scottsdale has set aside $30,000  to cover a variety of projects — like painting alley walls, landscaping that uses low water and neighborhood signs.

Applicants need to provide photos and explain how the project will benefit the neighborhood and how it can be maintained.

City staff will review and meet with applicants before the information is sent to the Neighborhood Advisory Commission for approval. Projects cannot be located within an HOA.

Applications can be submitted online or in-person to the Neighborhood Advisory Commission Staff at 7447 E. Indian School Road, Suite 105, Scottsdale.
