The state Supreme Court has refused to immediately take up Kari Lake’s appeal in an attempt to overturn her loss to Gov. Katie Hobbs in last year’s election.
The court wrote there was no good cause for Lake to skip the normal process of first going to the Court of Appeals.
In May, a trial judge ruled against Lake’s last remaining claim that Maricopa County election officials did not follow proper signature verification procedures.
