Hamadeh asks state Supreme Court for new trial in bid to overturn 2022 election results

Losing Arizona Attorney General candidate Abe Hamadeh is asking the state Supreme Court to order a new trial in his bid to overturn his loss to his opponent, Democrat Kris Mayes.

In a new filing, attorneys for Hamadeh and the Republican National Committee claim a trial court judge improperly limited the amount of time Hamadeh had to prepare his arguments.

Hamadeh's request for a new trial in Mohave County superior court was denied in July.
