Phoenix police say one suspect is in custody after a lengthy police chase Thursday evening that involved multiple carjackings, several vehicle collisions and gunfire.
Sgt. Brian Bower said the chase only ended after the suspect crashed an SUV into a home in southern Phoenix.
“This is a very violent situation that happened through multiple situations across the city of Phoenix. It extends several areas," he said.
According to officials, an adult female involved in one of the collisions was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
