Hot way back when: Arizonans share their heat memories

Phoenix might finally be getting a brief reprieve from the sweltering desert heat this weekend. However, that record-breaking stretch of temps in the 110s throughout July is something we will never forget.

It’s clear our climate is getting hotter — but just how different was it a generation or two ago?

For that, The Show turned to you, our listeners. You might have heard the callout, asking you to send in your heat stories — memories of how you dealt with the heat in the past and just how much things have changed.

Here are the stories of John James, Bill Baker, Janet Jorgensen and John Kramer.
