Phoenix City Councilmember Laura Pastor has announced that she is suspending her campaign for Arizona’s 3rd Congressional District.
According to a letter postedto X, formerly known as Twitter, Pastor said that she has developed non-life-threatening health concerns that shifted her priorities.
Pastor said she will continue to serve on the City Council for the duration of her 4-year term. She started her third council term in April.
