COVID-19 numbers are on a slight uptick. What does it mean for the near future?

The number of new COVID-related hospitalizations has been ticking up slightly across the country, as a new strain has emerged. However, even with that increase, the numbers are still much lower than at other points over the past three years.

The Show spoke with Dr. Nick Staab, assistant medical director with the Maricopa County Department of Public Health, about what's happening now and what to expect through the fall.
