How climate plays into a burgeoning semiconductor industry in AZ

A headline in Foreign Policy magazine from earlier this month read, “No Water, No Workers, No Chips.” It was about the need for Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company and other, similar firms to take climate into account when investing in particular locations.

TSMC has made major investments in the Phoenix area recently, and Danny Seiden felt the need to respond. The headline on his rebuttal in the same publication was “Arizona is Not Running Out of Water or Workers.”

Seiden is president and CEO of the Arizona Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and joined The Show to talk about what he wrote and why.
