Entrepreneurs in Chandler have a new place to collaborate. On Wednesday, the city and Arizona State University will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the new E+I@ACIC coworking space.
“What we’re looking to do here is give these young and emerging entrepreneurs an opportunity to make these connections, get this training,” said Micah Miranda, Chandler's economic development director.
The coworking space, which includes offices and open seating areas, is located inside the ASU Chandler Innovation Center at Chicago and Delaware streets. That’s also where the city and university plan to launch the Chandler Endeavor Venture Innovation Incubator, offering free workshops and other resources.
“It’s really designed to be a location where entrepreneurs can connect with like-minded individuals and also those individuals who may press them out of their comfort zone as they go through their business growth,” Miranda said.
