Free speech on university campuses has long been a hot topic — from where and when students can protest to what controversial speakers they can bring onto campus.
Brian Soucek says universities have been put in an impossible situation, caught in between nondiscrimination laws that won't let free speech interfere with someone's education and the Free Speech Clause if they do anything to stop it up until then.
Soucek is a law professor at University of California Davis and, in a new paper published in the Arizona State Law Journal, he introduces us to the right-wing group Speech First. The Show spoke with him more about it.
