Video games consume a lot of energy — that can play a role in climate change

As triple-digit high temperatures continue, and along with high energy bills, there’s increasing attention on the role the gaming industry plays in climate change.

David Lumb explains that there's an impact both in the manufacturing of the consoles and in the gameplay itself.

Lumb is a mobile reporter for CNET and has written about this. He joined The Show to explain more about what the concerns people have with the role of gaming in climate change and energy use.
