Attorney who is a Kari Lake supporter files new court complaint, though it's not a new argument

After the Arizona Supreme Court rebuffed a Kari Lake supporter’s legal argument to overturn the 2022 gubernatorial election, it may now have some legs.

recent ruling from the Yavapai County Superior Court put into question what can be used to verify ballot signatures.

While the Yavapai ruling, which is looking to fix future elections, is not final, it gives Attorney Ryan Heath another legal chance in court, despite an earlier failure in the state Supreme Court.

He now has filed a similar argument to the Maricopa County Superior Court, though his case has a larger hurdle than the one in Yavapai. This is because in order to overturn the 2022 gubernatorial election, any ruling in his favor would have to be retroactive.
