Apps and online platforms appear to be selling kids’ data, even as many say they aren’t, and some states enact laws aimed at preventing that from happening.
In a new report, Common Sense Media analyzed the privacy practices of more than 200 platforms and apps. The group found almost three-quarters of them are monetizing kids’ and families’ personal information.
