Farmers and ranchers can apply for Natural Resources Conservation Service grants

The Natural Resources Conservation Service has begun to  take applications for a new round of grants supported by Inflation Reduction Act funding.

The agency offers technical and financial assistance for farmers, ranchers and landowners interested in conservation.

Projects that benefit wildlife, improve soil health and conserve water may qualify under the program, which is receiving $20 billion in IRA funds over a five-year period.
