It will still be hot in Phoenix this week — but lows might drop into the 60s by the weekend

Just when you thought the triple digits were finally behind us, the next couple of days will be warmer than normal in Phoenix this week.

"High temperatures just above 100 for several days, but heading through the end of the week, it’ll cool down a little bit back to the upper 90s, very comfortable in the mornings — morning lows in the mid-60s to lower 70," said Mark O’Malley, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Phoenix.

According to the National Weather Service, normal highs for this time of year are in the low to mid-90s. O’Malley says it’ll also be a dry week with no rain in sight.
