The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission is suinga local pet groomer with locations in Phoenix and Scottsdale. The business is accused of sexual harassment and retaliation against employees.
Filed Friday in the U.S. District Court of Arizona, the suit alleges that a male manager and male employee at Bark If You’re Dirty — formerly ‘Wag ‘N Wash’ — subjected female employees to “constant sexual harassment.”
Management was notified multiple times, but the suit says complaints were ignored and female employees were fired for coming forward.
In addition to permanently preventing Bark If You’re Dirty from further discrimination, the suit is seeking punitive damages, compensation for lost wages and other relief.
