What it's really like to experience homelessness in Arizona

We hear so much about The Zone — and with good cause, those blocks in downtown Phoenix are an epicenter of sorts for the unsheltered and the challenges they face. However, if you live in the Valley, you probably know that homelessness is not just contained to a few blocks in downtown Phoenix.

Last week, the West Valley city of Avondale held an event designed to connect people experiencing homelessness to basic needs: housing, medical care, clothing, identification, legal services and other resources.

That is where The Show met Noel Reeves. He has been homeless in Phoenix for about a year and has lived all over the Valley, including downtown Phoenix. He told The Show his story, and what he’s seen during his time being homeless here in Arizona.
