We only have 4,000 weeks to live. Author Oliver Burkeman explores how to spend them

Think about this: In your life, you will live about 4,000 weeks.

If that puts your own mortality into rather harsh perspective, I’m right there with you. In weeks, 4,000 seems like an insultingly short amount of time — and we’re already through a whole lot of them.

Journalist Oliver Burkeman doesn't want you to think about those 4,000 weeks and start to pack more and more into them. Instead, he argues that our obsession with being productive, efficient, and stacking up the "life hacks" to make us even more so is working against us.

Why not try something different?

Burkeman joined The Show to talk about his new book, "Four Thousand Weeks: Time Management for Mortals."
