Oversight lax for marijuana operation on Navajo Nation facing lawsuit from immigrants

The sale and use of cannabis is illegal on the Navajo Nation — and, if allegations of abuse related to a marijuana growing operation there are true, nothing about this appears to be legal.

A group of Chinese immigrants allege that they were held against their will at a motel in Farmington, New Mexico. They say they were lured there with promises of landscaping jobs but once there were held captive and forced to work 14 hour days.
