This ASU professor explains how the NBA became a fashion powerhouse in new book

When you watch an NBA game, there’s of course the action on the court to focus on. But, it’s also probably worth it to keep an eye on the bench to check out the fashion choices.

And, some fans don’t even pay attention to the game itself, rather watching out for what the players are wearing pregame and postgame.

Mitchell Jackson is a fan of both basketball and fashion. He started playing when he was a kid and says he’s always loved fashion.

Jackson is a professor at Arizona State University and author of the new book, "Fly: The Big Book of Basketball Fashion." He’ll be part of a conversation about it on Sunday evening at the Phoenix Art Museum.

Jackson joined The Show to discuss at what point did NBA players and maybe the league itself become known as a place where people looked for fashion and more.
