ASU President Michael Crow slams Turning Point USA after 2 members allegedly assault professor

ASU President Michael Crow  is slamming Turning Point USA, a right wing activist group, after two members allegedly harassed and assaulted a professor on the Tempe campus last week. No arrests have been made, but video was captured

Two Turning Point USA members who claim to be a reporter and a camera person, sought out professor David Boyles, a co-founder of Drag Story Hour-Arizona, on campus. Once they found him, they  confronted him with accusations of being a pedophile and interrogated him, walking alongside him as he attempted to walk away.

Boyles eventually swiped at the camera still pointed at him and was then shoved to the ground face first. Police are investigating.

Crow blames the incident on Turning Point USA’s  “Professor Watch list,”which he says has “resulted in anti-Semitic, anti-LGBTQ+ and misogynistic attacks on ASU faculty.”
