Jason Morris, an attorney at Phoenix-based law firm Withey Morris Baugh, was in the United Arab Emirates with two colleagues when news of the Hamas attack on Israel broke more than a week ago.
Morris was scheduled to lead a trip to Israel for young professionals wanting to learn about the country's business sector, politics and more. The trip was canceled, but Morris said he traveled ahead to Israel to bring items to soldiers and help the wounded.
"I will never forget listening to those stories and seeing those injuries and seeing how young these victims were," Morris said.
He also said that he will continue working with the Phoenix community to give aid to southern Israel.
