The Arizona Department of Transportation move comes after it added support for Apple Wallet last year.
Arizona is the fourth state to offer the option, along with Colorado, Georgia and Maryland. People can show their digital IDs to select TSA airport security checkpoints.
ADOT still recommends residents continue to carry their physical driver's licenses and IDs.
