A rally for Palestine is scheduled for Saturday morning at 10 a.m. at ASU’s Tempe campus.
The demonstration has been promoted on social media by Poder in Action and the ASU chapter of Students for Justice in Palestine.
SJP has called on the university to end study abroad programs to Israel, take Israeli-made products out of campus stores and stop investing in "companies that are complicit in the Israeli occupation of Palestine."
Other groups listed on the social media post promoting the rally include Anakbayan Phoenix, Code Pink and Black Lives Matter Phoenix Metro, which is not part of BLM’s global network.
