Biden's border wall move may represent a shift to the right with Latino voters

The Biden administration announced recently that it would, in fact, build more sections of the border wall in parts of Texas — breaking a signature campaign promise the president made in his bid for office.

The move angered much of Biden’s liberal base — and immigration and environmental advocates alike. But Mike Madrid says we shouldn't assume it will alienate Biden with all — or even most — Latino voters.

Madrid is a GOP political consultant and co-host of the Latino Vote podcast, and he told The Show, there’s been a significant shift to the right for Latino voters in recent years. But not necessarily to the Republican party.

The Show spoke with him more about it.
