Republican Rep. Debbie Lesko shocked the political world last week when she announced she’d had enough. Even the Trump-endorsed House Freedom Caucus member said “Washington, D.C., is broken” and “it’s hard to get anything done.”
She’s not running for reelection next year to spend more time with her aging mother and grandchildren.
This means the race is on for her seat, which is seen as a safe Republican district. And that isn’t the only hot congressional race in town.
