Riders in metro Phoenix can now use the Uber app to hail driverless Waymo vehicles.
The partnership, first announced in May, will match Uber riders with a Waymo vehicle if their route falls within Waymo’s 225-square-mile service area.
According to Waymo, driverless vehicles already provide over 10,000 rides weekly in Metro Phoenix.
Waymo officials say that number will grow with the expansion into the Uber app.
