After two road games, the Arizona Diamondbacks are in Phoenix starting Monday

The Arizona Diamondbacks started the World Series on the road against the Texas Rangers.

After two games, the D-backs play at home in Phoenix on Monday night.

The city’s assistant fire chief, Shelly Jamison, says her department will refer to plans developed for other major sporting events in the Valley.

“We work very closely with homeland defense, Office of Emergency Management, our partners in law enforcement and we pair to ensure there’s the best response possible for the community, with crowds such as the one’s you’ll see coming downtown,” said Jamison.

With 84 regular season wins, Arizona could be the team with the fewest victories to capture a World Series title in a non-truncated season.
