Many Arizona sports fans rejoiced after several of the state’s teams won their games Saturday, including the Phoenix Suns, who beat the Utah Jazz 126 to 104.
It was also the first home game victory for new Suns head coach Frank Vogel.
“I think we’re gonna have a great relationship with the fanbase here. I think they’re gonna be really proud about the product we put on the floor, how much blood, sweat and tears we put into the game,” he said.
The team also held a Ring of Honor ceremony during halftime to honor former Suns players Charles Barkley and Steve Nash, as well as sports commentator Al McCoy.
