On Halloween, you can see an usual sight on Tempe Town Lake: witches on paddleboards.
The eighth annual Witches Regatta kicks off at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31. Participants with gather in costume on the north side of Tempe Town Lake and use paddles and boards to float to the Mill Avenue bridge and back.
Everyone is invited to participate, and spectators are welcome, too.
