The state health department's Arizona Biomedical Research Centre is looking for volunteers to serve on a council that will provide advice on research into psilocybin, also known as magic mushrooms.
Earlier this year, state lawmakers set aside $5 million in the state budget to study using psychedelic mushrooms for addiction, pain and PTSD.
The not-yet-formed Psilocybin Research Advisory Council will meet monthly, in person and in the Phoenix area. For more information, visit azdhs.gov/biomedical/.
